A Blasphemy to Christianity
by Capricorner
It takes all sorts of people to make this world and just two to make this world a bad place to live … the idiots and the psychotics and the one who burned the Koran, making a public show of it, is both an idiot and a psycho.
A self proclaimed pastor of a congregation of a few hundred psychotic idiots, like him, recently made a show of burning the Koran to spite Islam. As a result of this action his Islamic counterparts in Afghanistan raided the UN quarters killing a number of UN personnel and Afghanis turned aggressive against the US, obliging general Petreus to publically apologize for this act and explain that it is by no means indicative of the attitude of the American people to Islam. Moslems in Pakistan were very upset and this was the case in other parts of the Islamic world.
This psychotic idiot who poses as a spiritual leader, his name will not be mentioned because he has a craving need for publicity, any kind of publicity, as his act evidences, had threatened to burn the Koran, to attract the attention of the media, but gave in to pressure against this act. However when he disappeared completely from the radar of the media he carried out this despicable act to make himself famous, as what? A champion of the Christian faith ? By whose authority ? In the name of what ? The kindness of Christianity expressing its anger and resentment for the evil extremities of the fanatics of Islam ? These extremists represent only a small portion of the Moslem people, but the public burning of the Koran is an injurious insult to all Moslems. Besides, the Christians are no angels and they, therefore, have no right to insult others. Moslems did not set up and very efficiently operated the Nazi death camps. Moslems were not responsible for the extinction of millions in the former Soviet Union, on the grounds of political correctness. Moslems did not commit the atrocities in the violent break up of what was formerly Yugoslavia. Extremists are to be found everywhere, not only in the Islamic part of the world.
Does this clown know anything about Christianity? Has he read the Bible? Is Christianity hate and revenge or is it love and forgiveness ? Jesus Christ tortured and with a crown of thorns round his head carrying uphill the cross on which he was to be crucified stopped and benefited a seeker of his Godly power with a miracle. Jesus was so full of love for humanity that even then, despite his suffering, he extended his love. On the cross he asked one last thing of his father the father of all mankind and that was to forgive his executioners-torturers “for they do not know what they are doing”.
He was a true son of God and God is understanding and forgiving because God is love and his son came to this world to bless us humans with love. His teachings are all for love, “love thine neighbour” but this imposter evidently has no idea of the teachings of Jesus. What is appalling is that he had all the time in the world to read the Koran. If he had, he would have realized that its teachings have much in common with those of Christianity, but that his counterparts in Islam, for reasons of their own (and bigotry) have presented a distorted interpretation of the Koran and have, thus, misled the ignorant faithful in ways that make Islam appear to be something it is not. By burning the Koran this caricature of a pastor and his moronic congregation demonstrated the very same personality characteristics that fanatic Islamists demonstrate. Now Islamists of the same genre of intellect will probably burn a Bible to express their intolerance and contempt for Christianity, to thus enable the moron “pastor” to justify his provocative act of hate. What will follow then?
This act of burning publically the Koran is an affront to Americans of the Moslem faith as well as to Moslems everywhere. It is also an act that lends credence to those Islamists who claim that Christians are the enemies of Islam and that Christians are beasts. Mother Teresa was representative of Christianity. This reveler of publicity is a Blasphemy to Christianity, which makes one wonder why the Heads of the Christian churches have not come out to condemn his act and remind the World that Christianity is, like the Moslem faith, a faith of love for God and for all Mankind, including our fellow Humans of the Moslem faith.
